and, of course, Henry the horse, dances the waltz

Couldn't think of a title today so I borrowed on from John Lennon.

I have been pattern happy recently - Look:

Why is it that no matter how many patterns you own - you never have one that works with the yarn you want to use?

Any way, see that teal and lavender pattern by White Lies Designs - Well I bought it about a week ago - received it right away too - when the other day in the mail I received it again! So I emailed Joan and said she had sent it to me twice - did she want me to send it back? Lovely woman that she is, she said no - give it to another knitter who would like it. Since I couldn't decide who to gift it to I decided to hold a CONTEST

Being the comment ho that I am - if you would like this pattern - leave me a comment - next week I will take everyone's names and pick one out of a hat.

I'll try my luck. It is very beautiful and original. I also am green with envy since you have aquired the corset pattern! LOL. I am in love with the look of corsets, and may some day own one, or maybe 10. I think I should have been born in the time when everyone had them and wore them. Even though I don't like dresses now, I would wear any victorian number well, and proudly. But, instead I can just dream about it.

HI. I would be honored to get the pattern or stitch markers. My daughter would look great in a sweater like that!

Even if I don't win, I can't wait to see your finished product. The patterns are beautiful, and many of the ones you have are some I have lusted after.

I love those designs, but I can never decide which one to do...so as of yet I have none:) I can't wait to see you knit up some of them...especially the corset, what a beautiful design! I'm crossing my fingers that I'm the one!! So, if you feel like beading...I'm always interested in the markers that other people make, so feel free to send some my way!

oh, pick me, pick me! Me must to comment for to be included in the contest. I've been looking at White Lies designs and of course would try to adapt the pattern to machine knitting--I can't just follow a pattern, must make it difficult.

oooh,....i would love to get my hands on that!!!

I have to say you have excellent taste in your pattern choices. The patterns you have posted are feminine and classy. I also noticed they are figure flattering too. I have not been lucky enough to have been raok'd. So I would treasure stitch markers.

That's a great stash of patterns! And I know exactly what you mean about not having the right match of yarn to pattern, no matter how big either stash is!

Oh! Me! I LOVE White Lies designs!!!!

You have selected some beautiful pattern! Can't wait to see one of them knitted up. I love White Lies Designs and would love to be lucky enough to win one of her designs.

I see a real theme in your pattern selections. Are you normally this feminine and romantic ?

Please do not put my name in the hat. It would be cruel. I don't knit and I JUST KNOW that I would win thus depriving some deserving knitter of a desirable pattern. So I beg you NOT to put my name in the hat ....
