Last weekend, we took the boys to the Renaissance Fair in Sterling Forest. It was there first and I haven't gone since before I met David - the three of us had a blast, but David definitely prefers the 20th century, a rocket or a submarine would have made him much happier!

A game of Chess

Birds of Prey

It was not for sale.

I love Renn Fest. It is nice to take on a character and be someone else for a while in a different time and place. I must say at my first one I got in front of the Queen going to the privy and was thrown in the stocks for a good hour before a nice knight let me go. lol
I've always wanted to go to the one in Sterling Forest. I do try to go to the one in Fort Tryon Park that usually happens in October.
