The only good thing about the weather today is that is was warm enough to wear my poncho. I love this poncho and would wear it all the time if I could. The yarn is Peace Fleece sport/dk and it is so cozy and comfortable.

I haven't started any of the KAL's I joined. I still haven't decided on the yarn for Mariah. Smiley's has 100% wool worsted wt on sale for $1.99 each - this is the yarn I am using for the crochet hat for me. It is virtually identical to the Paton's Classic wool and they have ( or at least had when I was there on Sat.) a color I really love - sort of brick/brown/red color. So for about $22 I can make this sweater. I am going to stop there this Sat after my review class and see what they have left.

I also signed up for the Crochetville shawl/poncho swap. I really love these swaps, cause I love making stuff for others and I love receiving stuff too.
