Happy New Year all! Hope everyone rang in 2005 in a pleasant way ( I can remember way too many lousy NY'sE parties).
Since David is still on midnights _ I spent the evening reading a good book (The Eyre Affaire) and drinking champagne waiting for the ball to drop. I have lived my whole life in NYC and never once spent it in Times Square - the closest I got was dinner at an Indian restaurant on 44th st before heading down town to a party in the East Village some years ago.
The only knitting done was to finish my squares for the afghan exchange.
2004 will not go down as a very good year - here's hoping 2005 will bring peace and happiness to all!
